I do not upload confidential or unpublished client work to generative AI platforms without your explicit consent, and AI never replaces my professional judgment, editorial expertise, or the human relationship at the heart of our work together.

When a client chooses to allow AI use in our work together, I use it selectively and thoughtfully, recognizing both its potential uses and its ethical, environmental, intellectual, and equity concerns. We will be clear about how AI may be used in our work together, and you may always choose not to have your work processed through generative AI. Choosing not to use generative AI will not affect the quality or scope of the support you receive. Any AI use must also be consistent with applicable publisher, institutional, disciplinary, and professional requirements.

Because AI technologies and the standards governing their use continue to evolve, I am committed to ongoing learning and to evolving my practices accordingly.

My commitment is to protect your work, honor your voice, and use AI in ways that strengthen—not replace—your intellectual agency.
